Factored Form: y = a (x - s) (x - t)

Everything on Factored

In factored form you have the two x intercepts, optimal value & axis of symmetry. In factored form the x ints are the values of "s" & "t".

Next is axis of symmetry. To find the axis of symmetry you would take the two x ints add them together and then divide them by 2. That would give you your x value for your vertex.

Now that you have the x value for your vertex, to find the y value you would plug x and solve for y in the original equation.

Then finally the optimal value would either be the min or max point.
